Emily is the primary investigator on this grant and is writing a companion book, Constellations of Nature: A Connected History of Scientific Conservation in Patagonia and Amazonia. She oversaw the research for the project, the organization of materials, writing the content, and the curating of this website as well as selecting the rest of the research team.
Research Team
Team Members
This project has been a team effort involving scholars, students, conservationists, scientists, archivists, librarians, web designers, artists, and colleagues. It has been made possible by direct support from a National Science Foundation grant (#1230911) and indirect support by numerous institutions and individuals. History projects rarely come out of laboratories or studios, but this website collection could not have been created without the team effort and we believe that it is a stronger resource because of this shared effort.
